MAGGOTS

Have you ever wondered how maggots grow? Well in Room 8 we discovered facts, like how the maggot's slime can be used for a healing balm for wounds and fly larvae can suppress our immune system from attacking so it can start eating the skin. The Statue of Zeus

In Olympia is one of the 7 wonders of the world called the Statue of Zeus. This statue is made out of Ivory and Gold. This was created in 436 BC by a builder Phidias. Unlike other statues of Zeus, Phidias decided to carve Zeus looking calm. The statue is showing symbols like victory in his right hand and the crown of olives meaning the power. After the temple was constructed, the people planned to make a statue of Zeus inside his temple.
