Jonas Salk
Jonas Salk was born October 28th, 1914 in New York City, the eldest of three brothers.
Dr. Salk earned a medical degree from the University of New York school of medicine. He went to university in Michigan on a research fellowship to develop a vaccine in 1947.
The influenza vaccine is protect against four influenza viruses. The vaccine grows when it hatches from an egg inside the body.Dr. Salk used the vaccine on people who hasn’t had polio including himself, scientists and his family. The outcome was a positive one. There were negative reactions from the vaccine.
