Ben the bear
Learning Intention: W.A.L.T. write a narrative story.
Success Criteria: I know I am successful when I can write a narrative story using paragraphs, capital letters and full stops correctly.
Once upon a time there lived a bear named Ben. He was huge, brown, mean, scary and very hairy.
He eats fish from the river, and his teeth was white and sharp.
One day in the woods, Ben saw hunters, so he ran away to his cave. It was dark and cold. Then he slept,and he dreamed of hunters and soldiers hunting him.
The next day Ben went to see if the hunters were still there,and they were. Ben saw them and he scared them off. But one of the hunters didn't follow. He called back up, and quick as a flash, back up came.
Most of the bears of the woods was captured by the hunters. Ben the bear wanted to be free so he fought the man. Ben was shot 5 times,and he was injured but he didn't die. Ben scratched the hunter,and he died.
Later the bears broke the cages and was free. The hunters ran away and Ben was a hero. All the bears celebrated the brave bear who saved all of them. Finally all the bears were happy and safe, but Ben was taken to the bear sanctuary where he lived happily ever after.
