Trouble on Christmas Eve

Trouble on Christmas Eve During the Christmas season there lived a family in Auckland, New Zealand. They lived in a huge house in the city. On Christmas eve the parents both had to go to work. So they left their twin daughters to spend the night home alone. The sisters were excited to stay home and to finally feel that they have a huge responsibility to look after the house and each other like adults. 1 hour has passed and the sisters looked tired while watching TV. The living room was full with potato chips and popcorn, and the kitchen was twice the amount of mess there was than the living room.

Suddenly two grown ups decided to spread some Christmas cheer and walked towards their house. They saw that a window was opened so they climbed through. They were walking inside the parents room, looking at lots of  jewellery. They took their bags off and started taking the items. When they were finished they walked to the living room and to their surprise two girls saw them looking shocked. The adults had no choice but to tie them up and tape their mouths shut. “Merry Christmas” one of the robbers called out and walked out the front door.

One of the girls were so scared that she fainted while the other cried. “I hope Santa gives them coal on Christmas” one of the twin’s said. What will they tell the parents when they come back from work? Would they ever have the responsibility to look after the house again?

The Christmas argument

Looking up at the night sky on Christmas Eve you might see Santa shouting at his reindeer. Lets listen carefully for what he is saying. “Giddiup , you guys are even slower that horses, move faster!”. “But Santa your too heavy to carry plus the slay and the sack of presents” Comet replied. “Than how come every year you 9 can carry me and now you guys cannot” “Because Santa there comes a time when living animals gets old like you” Says Dasher “Yes I am old and fat but do you see me lying around being lazy,  my job and your’s is more important than complaining. So stop talking and move faster” Whoosh! And off they went moving on with their mission.

 Trading lives

I would rather trade lives with someone who is hiding secrets so I know what they have done. I would also know what it feels like to be silly and lazy. I also want to be that person so I know  they can be active outside. I might also cause trouble while I am still in that person’s body. I would rather trade lives with my brother just for fun.

Tree house or cave
I would rather live in a tree house. You could see a beautiful view from on top of a tree. A cave might be too dark for me to live in, it might have insects I don’t like and the cave might collapse while I am still inside. If a flood happens then I would be safe and dry from above in my tree house.

I think I would choose a jetpack. I could fly around the world to see places. I would also have some fun. I would scare people thinking that I am a flying God coming down from the heavens or a hero visiting to stop Covid-19. I wouldn’t choose a robot because what good will it do to me. It’s not like it will help me when I am struggling with my homework.

Jonas Salk was born October 28th, 1914 in New York City, the eldest of three brothers.
Dr. Salk earned a medical degree from the University of New York school of medicine. He went to university in Michigan on a research fellowship to develop a vaccine in 1947.
The influenza vaccine is protect against four influenza viruses. The vaccine grows when it hatches from an egg inside the body.Dr. Salk used the vaccine on people who hasn’t had polio including himself,  scientists and his family. The outcome was a positive one. There were negative reactions from the vaccine.

Invisible or the ability to fly? 
Being invisible can be really useful. If you’re in danger from people, your invisible power can help you to escape or to fight back. Flying can also be very useful, zooming through the sky from one place to another to save people or to see remarkable things. It is a really hard decision to make but if I was thinking about protecting myself, I would choose the option of being invisible.

Dancing or singing I think I would rather be a singer than a dancer. Dancer’s express their feelings through actions, and the only feeling that I can express is being annoyed by siblings. Singing I think is the right option to go for. I just don’t feel comfortable jumping around in front of people.

The beach or overseas
 I would rather be at a beach in New Zealand. You could see the sun rise or set at the beach, you could go for a swim, have a picnic, or take a walk. Going overseas is OK too, like seeing places, visiting family or friends, or relaxing at an expensive resort, but due to Covid-19 I am stuck here. So going to the beach in New Zealand is the best option.

Powers in your hands or Magical Wand

I would rather have powers in my hands. What happens if you lose your wand or it breaks, that will be very sad and you won't have powers to save people. Unless people might chop off your hands. Powers in your hands are useful because you can use them anytime instead of looking around for your wand. That means while the world is in danger, you’re too busy looking around for your wand while lots of lives are being lost.

Hero or Villain
 I would rather be the heroic lead in a story. In most stories the villain most likely dies, or loses in a fight and I don’t want that. The hero may die but at least the people will realise that he didn’t die in vain.

Movie or Video Game
 I would rather teleport straight into my favourite movie. Since I have seen the movie I know how it ends and every event in it, so I know what to expect. Whether it's people trying to kill me, driving fast cars, or running away from a monster. I might teleport into a movie and a video game at the same time, like Jumanji.

John Paul, born Karol Józef Wojtyła, was born on the 18th of May 1920 in Poland. 

In 1946 John Paul became a priest, and during 1978 at the age of 58, John Paul became the first non-Italian Pope. Pope John Paul II was Pope for 27 years. During 1981 the Pope was shot in the ear at the Apostolic Palace. Pope John Paul II came to New Zealand during 1986. I think that the Pope forgave the person who shot him because as a Catholic and the leader of all Catholics around the world he set an example to Catholics and other religions that forgiving means to make yourself happy and the other person not feeling guilty. Pope John Paul II was loved by so many people maybe because of his work. He went out to people to encourage them, especially those who need lots of mental help. He also made miracles. Pope John Paul was canonized a Saint on the 27th of April 2005 after attempting two miracles and died. Pope John Paul II suddenly died from a cardio circulatory collapse and septic shock on the 2nd of April 2005.

 Stranded in a forest or desert Island

I would rather be stranded in a forest. You can hide under trees as a shelter from the sun or the rain. I can also find an animal to kill and eat and find a way to drink. If I am stranded on a desert Island I cannot find any animals to eat or a way to drink fresh water. I would also not find a way to build a shelter.

 Flying

I would rather have wings to fly so I can fly away from annoying people. Flying is important because what happens if you are far away from a water source but have the power to breathe underwater. That means breathing underwater is a useless power. Flying can be used when you are in danger, or if I am bored I could fly away. I could also see interesting places like Paris.

Back in time 
I would rather go back in time and fix the mistakes I made when I was younger. I would make fun of others when I was little. I would also be able to visit Jesus, the dinosaurs, and my birth. I could go back and maybe change Tiktok.

Reading minds
 I would rather read minds so I know what people are thinking about. It could also be fun to read my siblings' minds so I could tell them off for thinking negatively about me. Finally when I am bored I can read minds for fun!

Superhero or a Wizard

I would rather be a superhero than a wizard because I dream of flying around the world. I can help people that need help while exploring interesting places. I wouldn't like to be a wizard because I don’t want to think so hard on how to cast a spell.
